Riviere Du Chien

This river front home built in 1985 received a facelift in the master bedroom & bathroom, powder bathroom & guest bathroom. SBID provided the homeowner with renderings and construction documents to maximize the space in the master bedroom. The bathroom was expanded to provide a soaking tub and separate walk-in shower and a partition was added to separate the bathroom from the bedroom area. The finishes were updated to bring more light into the spaces and reflect a coastal feel the homeowners desired. SBID provided construction management in addition to interior design services to ensure all design details were implemented to the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Sarah took our vision for how we wanted our home to look and feel and turned it into more than we could have imagined. We are so happy with the master bedroom and bathroom space plan and overall look. Every time I use my master shower, it brings me so much joy and lifts my spirits. We were impressed that Sarah worked around our desire to keep our authentic Henredon furniture in the master bedroom which leans very traditional and she brought in the new pieces of furniture to work around it. The powder room and guest bathroom are heavily used when entertaining and we get so much positive feedback and admiration for how creative and beautiful the spaces look. There were several challenges throughout the renovation project and we were so pleased with Sarah’s level of communication, ability to problem solve on the fly, and work with other trades to get the job done. We look forward to hiring Sarah for our next big renovation, the kitchen.
